My Story

My husband and I both have jobs that take up much of our time and require us to drive far distances every day.  Each day we spend an average of 12 hours a day away from our home. With our busy schedules it leaves us little time to be with one another, keep up on our home, and spend quality time with our friends, family, and pets.  While our relationship is strong and we make an excellent team despite the long hours, we both know that in order to accomplish the things we want, something has to give.  My husband loves what he does, but also went to school specifically to do this every day.  While I enjoy my job, it was not my career, and am ready to move on to something that will give me more flexibility, more time at home, and more time with my loved ones.  And our pets will love the time we can devote to them as well.  We both brought a cat in to our relationship, but before we were married we adopted our pit bull Crash from Stray Rescue of St. Louis.  Our animals are our children and being able to spend more time with them is also important to us.

I had already had a Park Lane Jewely party and I fell in love with all the fun pieces I received for free.  After discussing with my husband the option of selling  something that I wear daily and am constantly complimented on, I decided that this was something I wanted to do.  My Director was absolutely fabulous at getting me the information I needed to know in order to start.  From the moment I went to my first training and opened up my kit I knew this was going to be an exciting adventure.  I couldn't wait to get started.  I had already planned for a vendor party in my home with friends, so my Director told me that would be my launch party.

I'm already reaping the rewards!  Not only did I earn a ton of FREE jewelry, but I made excellent contacts and bookings off of my first show!  I have received so much support from Park Lane Jewelry.  I feel that no matter what I will succeed.  I have my friends standing behind me, my  husband in my corner, and Park Lane there every step of the way.  I couldn't ask for a better support system.

My goal is to be able to make my own schedule, spend more time at home, and for us to start a family.  While I am starting my new adventure, I continue to work my full time job, however, I plan to eventually make this what I do full time. I have already felt so much coming back that I can see quickly that this will become my new full time job.  I have loved every minute of it and am excited to see what my future holds.
